While our professors don’t pretend to be their students’ mothers or fathers, parents and professors do have quite a bit in common. We both believe wholeheartedly in our students’ potential, and do our best to help them reach it. We’re personally invested in their well-being. And we think about when it’s best to support them, challenge them, or simply get out of their way.
